About this fragrance
The Christian Dior Sauvage Cologne is a fragrance inspired by vast landscapes and wide-open spaces in the wilderness: picture an endless blue sky sprawled over a white-hot desert. It’s a composition that leaves a fresh trail in its wake that’s both powerful and noble, even donning the French word for “wild” in its name. The scent begins with top notes of pepper and Calabrian bergamot, followed by a menagerie of heart notes made up of patchouli, geranium, vetiver, lavender, pink pepper, Sichuan pepper, and elemi. Its warm and woody base consists of cedar, labdanum, and ambroxan. A fragrance with a high concentration of fierce charm, Francois Demachy composed this masterpiece as an ode to nature, using rare and rich ingredients that are specially cultivated for this scent.
